UK: HNB Products Less Risky

An independent scientific committee that advises UK government departments has said that there is likely to be a reduction in risk for cigarette smokers who switch to heat-not-burn (HNB) products, according to a story by Diane Caruana for the Vaping Post.

Xiaomi has had a history of launching weird connected-products. Well, today the company has launched yet another product under its MIJIA crowdfunding platform. Called, the A&D e-cigarette, it is a Nutrient-Rich e-cigarette and is Xiaomis 140th product in its connected platform portfolio. The product is priced at RMB 199 (Rs 1,900 approximately). It comes in four flavors C Apple, Mint, Grapefruit, and Vanilla.


The Tobacco Retailers Alliance (TRA) has criticised control group Fresh North East for calling on the government to introduce a licensing scheme for tobacco retailers and manufacturers to fund improved enforcement and other measures to reduce smoking prevalence.


Concerns have been expressed in Malawi about the quality of some of this seasons tobacco, though no official assessment has yet been made, according to a story in The Times.
